Applications are now open
Applications are now open for community organisations wishing to become Approved Sponsors under New Zealand's permanent Community Refugee Sponsorship (CORS) programme.
If your organisation is interested in sponsoring refugees, HOST International Aotearoa New Zealand (HOST) is here to support you every step of the way. As the umbrella organisation for the CORS programme, we provide guidance, training, practical resources, and ongoing coaching to help your organisation prepare for a successful sponsorship experience.
Explore this website to learn more about the programme, sponsor eligibility and requirements, the responsibilities of Approved Sponsors, and the support available throughout the sponsorship journey.
Application documents and detailed information about becoming an Approved Sponsor are available below as well as on the Immigration New Zealand website: Applying to be a Sponsor | Immigration New Zealand
If your organisation is considering applying, we recommend getting in touch with HOST early in your journey. We're happy to answer your questions, help you understand the programme requirements, and guide you through the application process.
